Canadian Sport Business Veteran Joins Agenda Sport Marketing
– Michelle Comeau Welcomes New Role as Senior Consultant –

Calgary, Alberta – Michelle Comeau, an industry veteran of four Olympic Games, with extensive experience working with Canada’s top Olympic Champions, professional golfers and consumer brands, has joined Agenda Sport Marketing as a Senior Consultant.

  “Agenda Sport Marketing is a talented organization comprised of great athletes, solid brand clients and innovative sport marketers. I’m thrilled to be teaming up with them in a consulting role at such an exciting time in Canadian sport,” said Michelle.

  During five years as the Manager of Athlete Representation with IMG Canada, Michelle led sponsorship negotiations on behalf of prominent Olympians and managed partner servicing with top Canadian brands including Nike Canada, McDonald’s, TELUS, Panasonic, IBM and General Motors.

  Over two years at Alpine Canada Alpin, Michelle managed the day-to-day corporate partner relationships and servicing with the national sport federation’s sponsors providing strategic planning, event fulfillment and consulting on key messaging.

  With the Vancouver 2010 Games just five months ahead, Agenda Sport Marketing couldn’t ask for better timing and a better fit.

  “With over 16 years of experience in sport marketing, sponsorship, and athlete management, Michelle will hit the ground running, supporting our team in all areas of athlete management and corporate consulting,” said Colin Young, Agenda’s Senior Partner.

  Michelle will work with Agenda Sport Marketing’s team in business development, providing her expertise and relational approach to both athlete management and corporate consulting.

With mission staff experience at four Olympic Games, two Pan American Games, three Canada Games and various other national and international sporting events, her passion for Olympic and amateur sport is also seen through her commitment to several volunteer boards and in her personal relationships with Canadian athletes.
